Head of Recruiting

We at InyaLand are looking for a talented Head of Recruiting to join our growing team as an employee-owner.

You will design, oversee, manage and run full-cycle recruiting process from beginning to end, in collaboration with our top management team, from sourcing talent and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees to meet our current and future needs and build the leading technology employer brand in Myanmar.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy and full-cycle recruiting process
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (job application and onboarding processes)
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications, including technical positions
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges
  • Participate in job fairs and career events and host in-house recruitment events
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, niche platforms, etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications by parsing specialized technical skills and qualifications
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze abilities of candidates
  • Conduct confidential interviews and follow-up references using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess candidates’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
  • Compose job offer letters and answer queries about compensation and benefits
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
  • Design and implement employee referral programs
  • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform about management changes in regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Promote company brand reputation as “best place to work”
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Requirements

  • Proven, accelerated experience in recruiting, preferably in technology
  • Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting processes
  • Strong ability to understand and explain job requirements for technology related roles
  • In-depth experience with sourcing tools and techniques (social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, online video and group, etc.)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (job simulation activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interview, reference check)
  • Understanding of employee referral programs
  • Good knowledge of best and innovative practices and procedures in people operations globally and Myanmar HR laws & regulations
  • Familiarity with recruiting & applicant tracking systems and candidate resume databases
  • Expert user of desktop and web productivity applications
  • Sound judgement, integrity and confidentiality
  • Great leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective decision-making, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
